- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr. Maplethorpe does indeed seem to be a caring and relatively knowledgeable doctor. Yet I must say that as a male, the overall office experience during the over four times I visited, was less than positive. In addition, I, my wife, and several other friends we have who have gone to their office found the front desk receptionist to be quite passive aggressively unpleasant. Her demeanor and treatment of patients is the kind of occurrence that, while it surely leaves a bad taste in the mouth of the majority of patients, likely never gets reported to the physicians. Overall, the office seems to carry a vibe of tenseness and passive aggression; in spite of the wonderful performance of a few key nurse practitioners. I truly hate to write anything negative about anyone; yet in all sincerity, if you're a male, think twice.January 16, 2017by A Google User
