He is not only caring, but he is also very funny and is capable of breaking all your old wives tales of how to treat your child. Listen to all the tips he has, since it tends to vary by season. For example, during winter, adults are more likely to have hot drinks near children - this makes a very bad combo if you spill your drink and end up leaving your child with second degree burns.
